UNDERSTANDING AADI GANESHA: THE SUPREME POWER BEYOND THE CYCLE OF BIRTH AND DEATH

As the festive season of Ganesh Chaturthi approaches, devotees worldwide adorn themselves in Ganesh t-shirts, Krishna t-shirts, and other Hindu-themed apparel like Hanuman t-shirts and Anjaneya t-shirts. However, amidst the joyous celebrations, it’s essential to delve deeper into the profound spiritual truths that connect us to the Supreme Divine. One such truth is the distinction between Aadi Ganesha and Lord Ganesha—a difference that holds significant spiritual importance.

Who is Aadi Ganesha?

Aadi Ganesha is referred to as the Supreme Creator, the Eternal God who transcends the cycle of birth and rebirth. Unlike the Lord Ganesha often worshipped during Ganesh Chaturthi, who is subject to the limitations of the material world, Aadi Ganesha is beyond the realm of birth, death, and reincarnation. According to the sacred texts—pious Vedas, the Holy Shrimad Bhagawad Gita, the Holy Bible, the Pious Gurugranth Sahib, and the Pious Quran Sharif—Aadi Ganesha is none other than Almighty KavirDev. He is the true spiritual leader, the Param Akshar Purush, who guides souls towards salvation.

The Importance of True Worship

To truly benefit from divine grace, it is crucial for seekers to base their worship on the teachings of the pious Vedas and the holy Shrimad Bhagawad Gita. These scriptures are the true words of God, unlike the Puranas, which are personal experiences of deities, saints, and sages. While reading Puranas can provide insight into the cycle of birth and death, they do not offer the path to ultimate spiritual benefits.

True worship, as guided by the pious scriptures, involves taking initiation from an enlightened saint, the Param Akshar Brahm, who can provide the true mantras necessary for salvation. This path, according to the holy scriptures, leads devotees to the eternal world where they are liberated from the cycle of birth and death and never return to the suffering of the material world. Only Aadi Ganesha, the Supreme Almighty, is worthy of such worship.

Aadi Ganesha vs. Lord Ganesha: Understanding the Difference

Lord Ganesha, as widely worshipped during Ganesh Chaturthi and depicted on Ganesh t-shirts and Ganpati t-shirts, is a deity within the cycle of birth and rebirth. While he is revered as the remover of obstacles and the harbinger of new beginnings, he is not capable of granting salvation. His divine powers, though significant, are still bound within the material universe governed by Brahm-Kaal.

In contrast, Aadi Ganesha, or Lord Kabir, is the Supreme God who exists beyond these worldly cycles. He is the creator and sustainer of all, the eternal source from which all life originates. On a soul’s post-death journey, it must pass through barriers created by various deities to settle spiritual debts incurred through worldly benefits. The spiritual currency required to settle these debts can only be earned by chanting the true names of these deities, as provided by a true saint. Currently, this true saint is identified as Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj.

The Path to Salvation

The Holy Gita (Adhyay 7, Shlok 20) warns against worshipping other deities, stating that such practices lead only to darkness. In Gita Adhyay 18, Shlok 66, the knowledge giver of the Gita instructs Arjun to seek refuge in PurnBrahm, the Supreme God, and to renounce worshipping lesser deities, including himself and the 33 crore deities under his domain. Further, in Adhyay 18, Shlok 46, he advises Arjun to seek the guidance of a Tatvadarshi Saint, who can impart true spiritual knowledge.

As we celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with devotion and enthusiasm, let us remember that the ultimate goal of worship is to attain salvation. Wearing a Hindu t-shirt, whether it’s a Krishna t-shirt, Krsna t-shirt, or a Lord Krishna t-shirt, symbolizes our connection to the divine, but the true essence lies in understanding the deeper spiritual truths.
