Here’s a look at the investments made by the most entertaining shark in Shark Tank India, Aman Gupta:

1. Hoovu Fresh

Hoovu Fresh is a Bengaluru-based startup that delivers puja flowers to your home. Founded in 2019, the startup aims to create a supply chain that benefits both farmers and end customers. Hoovu Fresh appeared on Shark Tank India Season 2 and secured a deal from Aman Gupta and Peyush Bansal, with Aman investing INR 50 lakhs in exchange for 1% equity.

2. STAGE

STAGE is an OTT platform that provides entertainment content in local languages. Founded in 2019, it offers a variety of short-form video content in categories like comedy, poetry, storytelling, and more. STAGE made an appearance on Shark Tank India Season 2 and secured a deal from Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, and Peyush Bansal. Aman invested INR 50 lakhs for 0.2% equity and provided an additional INR 50 lakhs in debt at 18% interest.

3. Gear Head Motors

Gear Head Motors (ghmev) is an electric vehicle company founded in 2018. The startup provides innovative electric bicycles and tricycles, aiming to reduce the carbon footprint by offering eco-friendly and cost-effective transportation. Gear Head Motors secured an investment deal from Aman Gupta and Peyush Bansal worth INR 1 crore for 6.67% equity, with Aman investing INR 50 lakhs for 3.3% equity. 

4. Very Much Indian

Very Much Indian is an online store founded in 2016 that offers a variety of woven sarees handcrafted by Indian weavers. The startup aims to bring heritage sarees to the new generation, offering varieties like Paithani, pure silk, Banarasi, Kota, Kalamkari, and Maheshwari. On Shark Tank India Season 2, Very Much Indian received funding worth INR 50 lakhs for 10% equity from Aman Gupta and Namita Thapar, with Aman investing INR 25 lakhs for 5% equity. 5. Floryo

Floryo, founded in 2019, is a retail platform that offers a variety of freshly milled flours and grains, including functional multigrain flour, gluten-free multigrain flours, and customized multigrain flours. This allows customers to easily get a variety of flours in one place. Floryo raised a seed round of $1.3 million in August 2022 from Aman Gupta and seven other investors.
