Ghazal Alagh, a charming and successful businesswoman, co-founded the beauty, child, and skincare brand MamaEarth. She was also one of the seven sharks on 'Shark Tank India.' Although her time on the show was limited, Ghazal made several investments and encouraged upcoming entrepreneurs. In her search for a skincare solution for her child, Ghazal ended up founding her own baby and skincare brand. Her love and passion for business and branding strategy have made her an inspiring figure in the business world. Now, she's helping other budding entrepreneurs develop their startups. Let’s delve into Ghazal Alagh’s investments on 'Shark Tank India,' which included some ventures in Shark Tank India fashion and Shark Tank India clothing sectors.

The Sass Bar manufactures creative soaps that look and smell like desserts, made from completely natural ingredients. Their products include soaps in the form of seascapes, retro themes, café styles, festive designs, and celestial collections, with options for bulk gifting and curated gift cards. 4. Watt Technovations

Nineteen-year-old Nihaal Singh Adarsh, founder of Watt Technovations, pitched his idea for ventilated PPE kits on 'Shark Tank India.' Though the sharks turned down this specific idea, they encouraged him to keep innovating by providing support and the requested investment. Ghazal Alagh contributed ₹25 for a 1% equity stake in Watt Technovations.

6. Gold Safe Solutions Industries

Gold Safe Solutions Industries manufactures anti-suicidal ceiling fan rods to prevent suicides by hanging. Founder Sharad Ashani pitched his invention on 'Shark Tank India,' claiming to have installed over 50,000 anti-suicidal rods in hotels, hospitals, jails, and hostels. His noble mission received positive reception, and Ghazal Alagh invested ₹16.67 lakhs for a 10% equity stake in the company.

7. Wakao Foods

Wakao Foods is a Goa-based startup producing jackfruit-based food products, including ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat foods with no added preservatives. They also offer vegan food varieties made from jackfruit. Ghazal Alagh was impressed by the founder’s vision and invested ₹25 lakhs for a 7% equity stake in Wakao Foods.

Ghazal’s journey as an investor has just begun, with most of her investments made on 'Shark Tank India.'
